You & Eye Temporary Closure

In the best interest of the public’s health, and per CDC recommendation, You & Eye will no longer be conducting routine exams or spectacle purchases beginning Thursday, March 19, 2020. The recommendation to stop routine eye care is designed to encourage social distancing, save personal protective equipment for hospital staff, and try to help reduce the societal impact of COVID-19.

We will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 19^th, and Friday, March 20^th, and 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21 for patients to pick up their orders.

We will re-open with reduced hours (9:00 am to 1:00 pm) Tuesday, March 24 through Friday, March 27 for order pick up. We will have curbside pick-up available this week and we can also drop off orders at your home if you prefer.  Call (503) 723-3000 during clinic hours for details.

We are always available for urgent needs. For any red eyes, sudden vision changes, flashing lights, or floaters in your vision please call (503) 723-3000 during the above hours or call or text (503) 878-2000 after hours. This will allow us to triage your needs and determine if an in-person appointment is necessary.

We will continue to seek guidance from the CDC and other public health authorities about when it is appropriate to reopen. We will announce our reopening widely.

Please continue to wash your hands, avoid touching your face, and stay home as much as possible.

Our response to this pandemic as individuals will determine the severity for society. Let’s do our part.
