GRAND OPENING TO AID VANUATU

Vanuatu is a Pacific Island country made up of 83 islands spread over a vast ocean area. It is located approximately half-way between Hawaii and Australia.
 

On March 13, 2015, Cyclone Pam devastated Vanuatu. Much of the population has been left homeless, many are without access to clean water, and food stocks are precariously low. The full effect of the cyclone is still unknown. Help is desperately needed.
 

Nicole and I spent a number of years teaching eye care and public health in the South Pacific before relocating to West Linn. A number of our students (now colleagues and friends) are eye care providers in Vanuatu. We feel a strong connection to the people of the South Pacific, including all of those affected by Cyclone Pam.
 

With this connection in mind, we are raising funds to help with the recovery effort in Vanuatu. For all eye exams and eye wear purchases made between You & Eye’s grand opening on March 26^th, 2015 and April 9^th, 2015, 20% of all proceeds will be given to World Vision to assist in their short and long-term efforts in Vanuatu.
 

Our grand opening celebration is on March 26^th, 2015 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. There will be door prizes, food, family activities and opportunity to donate to World Vision. We hope you will join us!
